40 Years Transforming Lives Through Snowsports
We are excited to announce that DSUK with the help of Patron Pippa Middleton have launched our #Ski2Paralympics campaign
The 2018 Paralympics will take place in Pyeongchang, South Korea between 9th and 18th March. A team of ski and snowboard athletes will be representing Great Britain in snowsports, these athletes are supported by Disability Snowsport UK. Disability Snowsport UK is a charity which changes and enhances lives through inclusive participation in snowsports.
At Disability Snowsport UK we believe that snowsports are for everyone, a sport to be enjoyed by all regardless of disability. We can’t all be in PyeongChang cheering on our Paralympic Athletes and, so we’ve decided to partner with Crystal to support our team at a distance.
The challenge is to ‘ski to PyeongChang’ by clocking up enough miles on the Crystal Ski app. The total distance from London to PyeongChang is 5,560 miles.
The challenge
To enter this challenge, we’re asking participants to donate £5 to Disability Snowsport UK via our JustGiving campaign HERE
Once you have done this you need to:-
Download the Crystal Skiing app or a similar Ski tracking app.
- Start tracking your ski or snowboard mileage
- Share your mileage as often as you can on social media. Do this by taking a screenshot of the distance you’ve travelled from the app and posting to social media. Make sure you mention #ski2paralympics and tag DSUK on social media:
